Look no further than Portland, Oregon for an example of the real estate boom rising from the rubble of the post-2000 stock market bust. With comparisons to California’s Bay Area and other hot real estate markets, Portland is on the short list of communities with a temperate climate, better-than-average appreciation returns, and high livability marks.
And yet, as popular as Portland has become for real estate enthusiasts, it has few dedicated weblogs (or online journals) covering the local real estate scene. This commentary is intended to provide timely insights for the Portland metro real estate buyer or seller.
And so, re:PDX is born.
